Endive is shaggy and ragged. It is some times called frisée (pronounced “free-ZAY”) in the US and France.
Its bitter flavor adds the perfect equilibrium, particularly when matched with fruity dressings. It yields an alternate kind of bite, with the goal that every significant piece of serving of mixed greens offers an assortment of textures.
It is also referred to as wavy endive. This endive has an open head with wavy, emphatically formed leaves. The core of the lettuce is yellow with the external leaves green. The external leaves of a head of Frisée lettuce will in general have a more grounded bitterness than ordinary endive. The brilliant interior heart tastes particularly great in plates of mixed greens.
Keeping the Endive lettuce in an open plastic sack in the cooler will store for a few days. Anyway ,in case you keep the roots of living lettuce wet in the cooler, it can keep going for much longer.
