A grown tilapia may reach 500 gm at age of 9 months, but they can reach 2.7 kg or more when lived longer.

It is a joyful festive when we receive a new fish shoal, a challenging process but makes me feel fresh, energetic and optimistic!

Baby fish is usually called “Fry” or “Fries”. Tiapia fingerling is 1 to 2 months old and wieghs between 1 to 10 grams. As you. may expect, it gets its name from its size, which is close to a human finger size.
I was lucky to attend the reception of this shoal. I never expected how sophisticated is the handling of these small creatures ?
